CW9110.FC6177 TAG Heuer Monaco Sixty-Nine Men’s Watch Review
The CW9110.FC6177 Tag Heuer Monaco Sixty-Nine Men’s Watch combines classic masculine style and a sporty modern look with its reversible stainless steel case and square dial. The Heuer Monaco watch was originally released in 1969 in honor of the Monaco Grand Prix and was popularized after it was worn by Steve McQueen in the 1971 film, Le Mans. Although the Heuer Monaco model was discontinued in the mid-1970’s, it was reintroduced in the 1990’s with an updated design and then rereleased with new mechanisms in 2003.
The TAG Heuer Monaco Sixty-Nine Men’s Watch features a case which flips over in order to switch from analog to digital time reading. The sides of the watch face are finished in satin and polished stainless steel. The unique timepiece features Caliber 2 and quartz Caliber HR03 mechanical manual-winding movement on its respective face sides, a scratch resistant sapphire crystal, and water resistance to 50 M.
The analog side of the dial has a black watch face with hand applied hands and indexes. The hour and minute hands and markers on the analog side are luminescent and the digital side is complete with a black digital dial. The crown of the TAG Heuer Monaco Sixty-Nine watch is polished stainless steel. The strap of this handsome timepiece features a black alligator finish and a double folding clasp.
