About TAG Heuer
TAG Heuer is one of the most well-known luxury watch makers, specifically of sporty, luxury watches and chronographs. In existence for over 150 years, TAG has released nine collections of men’s watches and six collections of women’s watches. The TAG Heuer brand is perhaps most known for its multi-faceted relationships and partnerships with race car driving events and luxury automobile manufacturers. Such examples include Formula 1, Monaco, Porsche and Mercedes Benz.
TAG has some great faces and names representing their brand. From Tiger Woods and Maria Sharapova to Leonardo DiCaprio and the young British race car driver Lewis Hamilton.
Through the company’s website there are frequent opportunities to meet such celebrity spokespeople and win a free TAG watch.
TAG Heuer headquarters are located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland and it is here where the TAG Heuer 360 Museum is. This museum was designed to house the world’ first 360 degree movie screen. “Managed by a battery of 12 computers processing over 1 million images an hour, it creates a dynamic presentation of the unique TAG Heuer watchmaking saga that has lasted almost a century and a half.”
Like many other luxury watch manufacturers, TAG is expanding into India, Asia and other parts of the world. In September of 2009, a three-story TAG boutique was opened in Korea. Called the TAG Heuer Cheongdam Boutique, this store is based on “fusion”, one of TAG’s newer concepts. The first and second floors house many TAG products, including watches, eyewear and clothes. The third floor is the Roof Café, where visitors can rest and play on a golf putting zone.
